Emmy ante.

Here is the full list of nominees for the 58th annual Emmy Awards (those are the ones for TV). Prepare to scroll, people. Unless you're interested in the award for Outstanding Hairstyling for a Series. (Which Rome is totes going to win, by the way.)

Um, OK. Here's what wasn't nominated that should have been: Lost (Which, by the by, won for best drama last year. That it's not even nominated this year, when it was arguably better than last year, is banoonies. And the fact that Desmond was the only player who got a nomination is hilarious. Especially since the guy who played fake Henry Gale was much better.); Edie Falco, James Gandolfini and Michael Imperioli from The Sopranos (No matter that season six sucked—they're always better than most anyone else on TV.); and Jason Bateman, Michael Cera and Jessica Walter from Arrested Development (Though we are delighted that Will Arnett and the show itself were nominated.).

We're sure there are more, and we could also go into who did get nominated who didn't deserve to be (anyone/thing from Two-and-a-Half Men?), but we got a Coffee Talk Companion to prep. Leave us alone!

Imperioli did get a nom. He better win! I agree with you - Sopranos sucked one this year, but Gandolfini is always good.

BTW - I love your blog, your latest coffee talk post had me peeing in my pants a little.
