As I would tell a writer from Circus magazine I was tired of the leather-and-feathers. "I'd like to wear some fabric for a change. I'd like it to be Eastern-looking—it could be tight-fitting and very little of it, maybe Arabian and Egyptian, all mixed up."
I sure was.
"I'm having a silver headdress made up now, with two real bird wings on it, like a Mercury's skull, the messenger," I continued.
