Idol memories.

Entertainment Weekly posted its top 10 "American Idol" performances of all time, and we were all like, Top 10? "American Idol"? Quoi? No such thing! we said. No such thing!

However...

Let us share the delight we felt whence reading EW's number eight choice: redhead crooner John Stevens's soul-killing rendition of Elton John's "Crocodile Rock." We'd post highlights of the writeup, but it's short enough that we'll just include it all.

Thank you, EW, for 1)singling out truly the best worst performance of the "American Idol" finals ever and, thus, 2)proving that it's impossible to list 10 good performances from that show...

I would just like to say that I was one of the few who enjoyed the musical stylings of John Stevens.

Oh, Lori M., you're incorrigable! We enjoyed the John Stevens, too, actually. Especially in his later, fish-out-of-water, deer-in-headlights days.
