Our second-favorite Troop Beverly Hills actress has been honored with a Web site called the Shelley Long Asylum, which we think is a perfect name for a site honoring America's second-favorite "Cheers" barmaid.
Some of the site's highlights are...
•Shelleyspeak—the quotable Long
•Shelley Trivia—interesting bits 'n' bobs about everyone's second-favorite Outrageous Fortune actress.
•A Shelley Long biography—Shelley through the years
•A Shelley Long gallery—much like the actress, it doesn't work.
•Appearances—a quick-click guide to the world of Shelley Long
There's lots more, too, so if you're a fan of the universe's second-favorite Irreconcilable Differences actress, pop in for a visit!

I don't know about 2nd favorite for me she's my 1st favorite. I think she is one of the most underated talented comedic actresses who deserves better reviews than she gets other than Cheers. Welcome to Paradise, Troop Beverley Hills, Boyfriend School and others were really nice films perhaps that's why they didn't succeed. I wish her well for the future and hope to see her in another films not guest appearance.
I agree entirely with the comments of annonymous. Shelley Long was Cheers and it was her character that kept it going. If she had Lillith instead of Carla as the assistant barmaid it would have gone from strength to strength instead of getting nastier and nastier. Her films not classics but the ones mentiomned really enjoyable humorous entertainment.
Shelley Long was Cheers - no matter what the bitter producers would have you believe after she left. The bar was Sam's 'true love,' indeed.
As for the 'second favorite' barmaid - I watched in spite of that little ratface troll whose only claim to fame was doing a really bad impression of her husband's character on Taxi.
she never got the role worthy of her acting abilities. She should have had the lead in a romance or love story. She would have been perfect.
