Infinitely inspired.

Eureka! That's what we said when we found the official site of Lydia Silvestry. Who's Lydia Silvestry? Well, Lydia Silvestry is just the creator of the most important item ever sold via infomercial. That's right, punks, it's the Infinite Dress!

Now, obviously we highly encourage you to visit her site to fully enjoy the captivating world of the Infinite Dress. We barely have room here to highlight our favorite styles...

For "Bad Hair Days."

An interesting version that uses a neck ring.

And this one, which falls under "Feeling Daring?" and "Amplify Your Bosom," which we kind of feel is cheating as the thing is called the Infinite Dress. But who are we to argue with Lydia Silvestry? No one, that's who.

The dress is made of an acetate/lycra blend. jersey knitt, and weighs only 10.25 ounces per yard. The dress comes in red, black and gold and the Infinite Pantsuit (our head almost exploded) comes in black and gold. No red, ladies. Sorry. However, the gold models are about $400 more than the red or black ones, which leads us to believe they're made of actual gold. So, if you're allergic to gold or a chainmail knit irritates your skin, opt for the red or black, at $149 for the dress or $199 for the pantsuit. Neck ring sold separately.

If you order, which we encourage you to do and send us pictures, don't pass up the free scarf offer. It's not specified, but we have to believe it's an Infinite Scarf.

Thank you for finding this. For many years, I held a video tape with the entire Jennilee Harrison/Infinite Dress debacle so very close to my side. Unfortunately, with the constant re-locating to less expensive apartments with longer commutes, it has been misplaced. Your entry gives me many happy memories and reminds me that anyone can look beautiful in the right attire.
