8/11.

Nearly five years ago, on 9/11/01, four planes were hijacked by al Qaeda-affiliated terrorists and used as missiles to bring down the World Trade Center and to cause serious damage to the Pentagon. It was the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil in history. There were warnings, but they went unheeded. Many experts believe had these warnings been taken seriously, such a devastating attack could have been prevented and thousands of lives could have been saved.

Today, we have gotten word that another attack on U.S. soil is being readied, and we hope that by making the details known here, someone will have the courage to take the threats seriously and prevent another enormously tragic event from occurring.

On 8/11/06, the inhabitants of Dyersville, Iowa are scheduled to be visited by Kevin Costner as he returns to the location where one of the most horrific films ever made, Field of Dreams, was shot. Once there, he plans to show the film on a giant 30-foot screen. As if this were not enough cause for concern, chatter picked up online revealed this shocking detail:

Costner will play a free concert with his unnamed rock band, followed by the movie.

Please be assured that we will keep on this until we know the band's name. In the meantime, we hope you have already begun to make plans to rescue the residents of Dyersville, Iowa. 8/11 is only nine days away, so plans to aid these innocent Americans must be made extremely quickly. As well, blood types A and O+ are desperately needed, so please visit your nearest blood bank to see how you can assist in this effort should you be unable to rescue and house a Dyersville resident or family.

This is a plea to all good Americans. Do not let another domestic attack, the likes of which we've only begun to understand since 9/11, affect our heartland. You have the information. It's time to make a difference. Together, we can prevent 8/11.
