Emmy-winner Judy Davis has just been cast as con-woman Sante Kimes in a Lifetime TV movie version of the story of Sante and her son Kenny Kimes' reign of strangely intimate swindling and murder. We adore the loony Kimeses, but we must remind Lifetime that the story has already been made into a TV movie starring the irrefutable Mary Tyler Moore as Sante. It was 2001's Like Mother, Like Son: the Strange Story of Sante and Kenny Kimes, and we think it should be put on DVD asap. We adore Judy Davis, but we'd like to see her in more serious made-for-movie movies. However, if she plays Judy Garland playing Sante Kimes, we're all there.
