Actress: Witherspoons, hands down. And is it because we're getting old and our eyes are going, or is Sarah Jessica Parker's name there?

Actor: We'll go with Jeff Daniels here. We like a nice comeback.

Supporting actress: Michelle Williams, scoring the first award ever for a role comprised entirely of sad face.

Supporting actor: Giamatti. It has the most syllables, and the Hollywood Foreign Press LOVES syllables.
