Beginning the world.

Kids, it's the Friday before Labor Day. We let the interns go back to their dorms. We were supposed to go to Grey Gardens on the fourth of September for a benefit and then regale you with a plethora of pictures of Little and Big Edies' place of residence. Alas, that's not happening. We apologize. Obviously and greatly.

Instead, we will be suffering in NYC, but, in a rare moment of sincere and wistful sentimentality, we will be singing Innocence Mission songs, more appropriate than ever:

Aren't you bursting with butterflies
on the fourth of September?
Like you'll have to get on the bus
in your tartan dress, with your lunch box.
Though your body is twenty-nine.
Though your mind is an old thing.
I mean, don't you ever get sigh,

I am always beginning the world,
beginning the world.
I am always beginning the world,
beginning the world.

Have a lovely week-end. We'll see you next week.
