The UK site, Digital Spy, reports on a couple of tidbits regarding quitters. And since it's from the UK, and, therefore, from the future, we believe it.

First, there will be no more "Absolutely Fabulous." Jennifer Saunders does not want to act anymore. She'd rather focus on writing and directing. We'd like to ask Ms. Saunders one question: Honestly or not honestly?

Second, Teri Hatcher says she may leave "Desperate Housewives" after next season to pursue film acting. Good. One of the things we hate most is turning on the television and being caught unawares by Hatcher's face and acting.

Finally, apparently "American Idol" has approached Whitney Houston to be its female judge should Paula Abdul quit to host a new dance reality show. We support that idea wholeheartedly. It's time for someone else, preferably an insane crack addict, to clap like a retarded seal.
