This exists probably because country music typically works well with comedy. Unfortunately, comedy is subjective, and sometimes its intentions are misinterpreted. Here's an idea: why not write a song about the time our friend saw you in a bagel shop on the Upper West Side and arguing with the cashier about tax applied to a bagel? Now that's fun-ny.
